Art that heals. Art that protects.

AC Brune is a German visual artist whose nature-inspired paintings have become a refuge for those seeking connection, healing, and meaning in an increasingly fragmented world. Based in Waghäusel, Baden-Württemberg, she creates original hand-painted works in oils, mixed media, watercolor, and charcoal (soon!) —each one a quiet invitation to pause, breathe, and remember what matters.

Her work does not simply depict nature. It embodies it. Every brushstroke carries the weight of ancient forests, the grace of wild creatures, the defiant beauty of life that refuses to be tamed. Lions, wolves, bears, horses, whales—these are not subjects. They are presences. Witnesses. Mirrors.

A Journey Through Healing

AC's path to art was not linear. After a serious injury that altered the course of her life, she returned to painting—not as a career, but as a lifeline. In the stillness of her studio, surrounded by images of the wild, she found what medicine could not offer: a way to process pain, to reconnect with her own strength, to heal.

That experience became the foundation of her artistic practice. Her work is not about perfection or decoration. It is about transformation. About the quiet power of nature to hold us when we cannot hold ourselves. About the courage it takes to bloom, even when the ground feels barren.

Art as Action

But healing alone was not enough. AC recognized that the wild places and creatures that had saved her were disappearing—silently, rapidly, irreversibly. And so, her art became more than personal refuge. It became a bridge.

15% of sales from selected collections go directly to wildlife conservation organizations—including the Alternative Wolf & Bear Park Schwarzwald, Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), International Tiger Project, and Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Every purchase is documented with full transparency. Every artwork becomes an act of protection.

This is not charity. This is integration. AC does not separate art from impact, beauty from responsibility, healing from action. Her work exists at the intersection of all three.

Recognition & Reach

In 2026, AC is featured in USANews as "A Rising European Voice"—a recognition of her unique ability to merge emotional depth with environmental purpose. She is honored as one of the "100 Artists of Europe" by Culturalelab, and her work has resonated with collectors and nature lovers across Germany, France, Netherlands, and Spain.

In 2026, she will present solo exhibitions at the HYBRID Art Fair in Madrid, Nissis Kunstkantine in Hamburg, and EspacioTripleA Gallery in Barcelona, as well as a group exhibition in Lisbon—bringing her vision of healing nature art to an international stage.

The Work

AC's portfolio includes signature series such as:

  • Elemental Series – Elemental depictions of lions, bears, eagles, and whales as ancient forces of nature

  • Wild Family Series – Intimate portraits of lynx, foxes, and forest creatures in moments of connection

  • Horses of Hope Series – Celebrations of resilience, renewal, and the courage to bloom

Her subjects range from African wildlife (lions, elephants, leopards) to European species (wolves, foxes, bears, lynx) to oceanic creatures (whales, manta rays, turtles) and rainforest animals (tigers). Each work is an original—no prints, no reproductions. Each is signed, varnished, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The Invitation

AC’s art is not for everyone. It is for those who feel too much. For those who seek refuge in the wild. For those who believe that beauty and purpose are not opposites, but partners.

It is for those who want their walls to hold more than decoration—who want them to hold meaning, memory, and the quiet promise that the wild will endure.

Art that heals. Art that protects.

Her Motto of life:

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu!

- May all beings be happy and free, and may we do everything we can to make that happen!
